The
organizing authority is the Pleon Yacht Club, in conjunction with the

Rules
The regatta
will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 (RRS).
2.
Changes to the Racing Rules
RRS 40
(Personal Buoyancy) will be changed by adding: “Competitors must wear a Coast
Guard approved PFD at all times when on the water.”

Eligibility
All competitors
must be under age 22, defined as not having their 22nd
birthday until after

Classes
4.1 Club 420,
420 Green Fleet, Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, and Optimist (Red,
White, Blue and Green fleets). Additional fleets may be added at the discretion
of the OA.
4.2 The minimum
number of entries for any class to receive a start is four (4) boats.
4.3 The maximum
number of boats registered for Opti Green and 420 Championship fleets shall not
exceed 60 boats per fleet.
4.4 On July 15,
competitors in classes that do not have four or more entrants will be notified
that their start is canceled, and a full refund of all fees paid will be made to
competitors.
5.
Fees
5.1 For all
single-handed boats: $70. For all double-handed boats: $140. Breakfast, lunch
and dinner will be provided daily (no dinner on
July 23) Regatta T-shirt(s) included.
5.2 A $50 late
fee (per sailor) will be charged for entries postmarked after Friday, July 11,
and received by

be no refunds.

entry form (including the Emergency Medical Form and Behavioral Contract for

Club on Sunday, July 20 from 4-7pm and from 8:30-9:30am on Monday, July 21.
8.3 All competitors must check in to be
scored.
8.4 ABSOLUTELY NO BOATS may be dropped off

Housing:

Limited housing is available on a first come first served basis. Requests for
housing must be made by July 11 and must include a completed Registration
Packet including registration fee. Participants with incomplete Registration
Packets will not be eligible.

Courses will be described in the sailing
instructions.

Scoring
14.1 The Low -Point System will apply.
14.2 Three races shall constitute a
regatta.
14.3 If five or more races are completed a
boat may exclude her worst score.
14.4 Special scoring may apply to
championships.
