What: Quannapowitt Yacht Club (QYC) is hosting the May Madness Laser Regatta.

www.sailqyc.comSailing will be on Lake Quannapowitt. Racing can be watched from the Club House.

Classes: Under-18, Adult (Masters and Radial classes if registrations warrant). Laser class rules
apply to the boats and equipment. Sailors must wear PFDs. The regatta is limited to 40
boats. Pre-registration is encouraged. The race committee will decide whether to hold
separate class starts depending upon the number of boats in each class.
Awards: Awards for the first 3 places in each class if registrations warrant.

e-mail. QYC or US Sailing members subtract $5 from entry fee.
Lunch: Lunch for racers is included in the registration fee. Additional lunches for guests are
available for $5.

UNDER-18 SAILOR WAIVER

minor child, acknowledge that participation in the sport of sailing may involve risk of serious personal injury,
and I hereby assume on behalf of my child the risk of any such injuries to my child arising while participating
in the regatta. I recognize and understand that the regatta is voluntary in nature and that the decision to
participate, based on wind and weather conditions, will be made by my child with my guidance.
I hereby waive and release any and all right and claim that I or my child may have against the Quannapowitt
Associates Trust II (QA II) and Quannapowitt Yacht Club (QYC), their officers, directors, agents, employees,
and members, for any and all injuries suffered by my child arising out of his or her participation in the regatta.
I have reviewed the rules of QYC as posted on their website www.sailqyc.com and agree that my child and I
will abide by these rules while on QYC’s premises.
